1. Marks

The following are marks of TruSecure (the "Marks"):

  • the word mark TRUSECURE;
  • the stylized logo of TruSecure;
  • the word mark TRUSECURE GRC;
  • the series marks TS-00, TS-01, TS-02, TS-03, TS-04, TS-05.

None of the Marks is currently registered as a trademark in any jurisdiction. The Marks are used as unregistered marks protected under the holder's goodwill, Romanian Law 11/1991 on unfair competition, the UK common-law action for passing off, and applicable international instruments (Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, Articles 10 and 10bis).

2. Reservation of rights

All rights in the Marks are reserved. Nothing on trusecure.co or in these Guidelines grants a license to use any Mark.

3. Permitted use without prior written consent

You may use the Marks in the following limited ways, provided that each use complies with section 4:

  1. reference to TruSecure's products and services in editorial, academic or commentary content that is true and not misleading;
  2. inclusion in a customer list on a website, provided that the list is current, accurate, and TruSecure has not asked to be removed;
  3. nominative use to identify TruSecure's products in technical writing.

4. Rules for any use

Any use of the Marks must:

  • preserve the Marks as adjectives, not as nouns or verbs ("the TruSecure GRC platform", not "TruSecures");
  • preserve the form and stylization of the Marks;
  • not suggest sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation that does not exist;
  • not be defamatory, obscene, infringing, or disparaging of TruSecure or its products.

5. Use requiring prior written permission

The following require prior written consent:

  • use of the Marks on merchandise, packaging or marketing collateral;
  • use of the Marks in domain names, social-media handles or paid-search keywords;
  • modification, combination with another mark, or incorporation into a logo.
