Where the line sits

Cyber-governance work generates legal questions constantly: does this NIS2 transposition capture this client? What does the DORA contract clause actually require? Is the AI Act classification defensible? TruSecure's product answers the operational half — what must be evidenced, by when, mapped to which controls. It does not, and should not, answer the interpretive half. When a client needs an interpretation validated, that work belongs to qualified counsel.

What legal partners do

The relationship is a referral lane in both directions. Your practice validates interpretations for clients running the platform — regulatory scope questions, contract and DPA review, the questions a compliance tool can flag but not settle. In the other direction, TruSecure encounters clients whose obligations are legally contested or under-specified and sends that work to counsel rather than guessing at an answer inside the product.

The platform gives counsel something most compliance files do not: an obligation register that shows which interpretation a control implementation rests on. When the interpretation changes, the affected controls are identifiable rather than buried in policy prose.

Scope

TruSecure's legal partner track is open to practices advising on cyber-governance matters in the jurisdictions the platform covers — the EU member states, the UK, and the wider framework library. Referral terms, where relevant, are discussed directly, not published.
